Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies help us keep LinkUpX secure, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used.

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and SDK identifiers) we use across the LinkUpX website and web app, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable technologies, such as browser local storage and mobile device identifiers, for similar purposes. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies collectively.

02Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

Required for core functionality: keeping you signed in, maintaining session security, load-balancing, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. The Service cannot function without these, so they cannot be turned off through our cookie preferences.

Functional / preference

Remember choices such as language, theme (light/dark), dashboard layout, and dismissed prompts, so you don’t have to reset them on every visit.

Analytics

Help us understand aggregate feature usage and performance (for example, which Discover filters are used most, or where errors occur) so we can prioritize improvements. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not sold.

Third-party sign-in

Set by Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub when you choose to sign in with one of those providers, governed by that provider’s own cookie and privacy practices.

03What we don't use cookies for

We do not use cookies for third-party behavioral advertising, and we do not sell information collected through cookies to advertisers or data brokers.

04Managing your preferences

You can manage non-essential cookies at any time from Settings → Preferences → Cookie preferences in your account, or through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies generally. Because strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect your account, disabling them will prevent the Service from working correctly.

Most browsers also let you send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal; where a legally recognized signal is detected, we honor it as an opt-out of non-essential analytics cookies.

05Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced in-product.
